製皂工人

這不是用奇異果做的肥皂啦，原本想做成奇異果的樣子─綠色為底，中間白色的碎皂，兩邊用一點一點黑黑的罌粟籽裝成奇異果的籽。很明顯的，皂沒長成我要的樣子...雖不好看，綠石泥加酪梨油還是深層清潔的好皂。

Want to make a soap looks like a kiwi fruit─green soap base with white cube soap in the middle, scattering some poppy seeds as kiwi seeds.
[Soap]
Obviously, the soap dose not look like the way I want. But, the green clay plus avocado oil still a good soap for deep clean.

想要有一個玫瑰園感覺的皂，除了加香香的玫瑰精油外，希望在視覺上有繁花似錦的效果。
切碎皂切得很辛苦，不知道鑲在皂裡會不會太大還是太小。直到切皂時才發現跟原先的構圖相去不多，那種每刀下去都是完美驚嘆號的感覺，只有做皂人才能體會吧！希望不會太花了。

It is hard work to cut the soap into small pieces... Before put the small cubes of pink soap into soap, I never realize the size and layout are just perfect to me!

一天在公司裡和一位剛生完小baby的媽媽聊天。真的，我不是因為肖想她的母奶才跟人家哈拉的。只是她突然說到她有好多母奶都過期了，丟掉一堆，我才猛然一驚，啊，如此珍貴的做皂材料竟然就這樣丟掉，簡直太暴殄天物了。趕快跟她預訂下一批快過期的奶，她也很阿沙力給了我一堆，讓我可以很奢侈做低溫四倍母奶皂！
母奶皂的好處當然不用多說，為了配合高貴的母乳演出，油品也是高格調共襄盛舉：金盞花浸泡橄欖油，香濃又護膚的可可脂，還有保濕又不油膩的澳胡油，打定主意要做個超級滋潤的好皂。

By chance got breast milk from my friend. Her son cannot consume all her milk so luckily I can have breast milk to make soap. Thank you, little Alex!
[Soap]
In order to match with this luxurious breast milk, I put good oil in this soap: infused Olive oil, cocoa butter and macadamia nut oil... to make a super tender soap.

每次做皂有多的皂液，最喜歡倒入Hello Kitty模來做Hello Kitty皂！沒辦法，真的太可愛了！

很想試做一下圓形皂，於是去Home depot買了段水管來試試。
發現水管模實在很容易準備，只要一端貼上保鮮膜再塗些油到管壁即可，不像我的吐司木模還要鋪紙。只是脫模時要等皂乾了，甚至有點開始脫水才推得出來。
為了做這皂，很認真把橘子皮和檸檬皮刮下來切碎，此外還加檸檬草粉以及新鮮檸檬汁。精油部份有甜橘和萊母，整個皂非常芳香美味，自己都很喜歡呢！

First time to make round soap. Bought plastic pipe from Home depot as soap mold. Summer is coming, I want this soap to be full of citrus aroma.
[Soap]
Prepared orange zest and lemon zest for this soap. Lemon grass powder and fresh lemon juice were added in. Not only this, the sweet orange essential oil and lime essential oil make this soap even better! Castile soap recipe with macadamia nut oil is gentle to skin and helps maintain skin's water barrier functions.

滋養又不油膩的甜杏仁油一直是製皂者的最愛。好啦，做這皂我承認是有點趕流行，沒有把前田京子的名皂搬出來試試好像如鯁在喉，不吐不快。

30%的甜杏仁油倒得我手發酸。為了讓皂不要太黃，所以用extra light的橄欖油。最後再渲染一下玫瑰果粉，嗯，渲染的技巧還得多練習！

The soap recipe from 前田京子 is very popular. I want to give a try to feel how good this recipe is.
[Soap]
This recipe uses 30% of sweet almond oil. Due to its emollient properties, sweet almond oils is suitable for all skin types as it helps relieve itching and irritation caused by dry skin.
Rosehip powder was added for gentle exfoliation.

紫草根和紫草葉都是對皮膚很好的草藥。今天把它們送做堆，相信效果應該不錯。

分別用紫草根和紫草葉浸泡橄欖油來做這皂。先把紫草葉浸泡油做成皂後，揉成小球再加進紫草根浸泡油的皂中。(好像有點繞口令...)

[Thought]
Both Shiconix and Comfrey leaves are known good for skin. They are different plants but excellent for skin repair, wound healing and scar removal.
[Soap]
Infused Comfrey leaves and Shiconix olive oil for at least 2 months. Making Comfrey soap first and then rolled it into small ball to add into Shiconix soap.

我想不會有人像我一樣豬頭吧，椰子油買成可可油！當我收到那一大桶可可油時，差點沒昏倒。
為了找可可油的SAP值還花了一番工夫，INS則是一直都沒找到。我想它的特性可能跟可可脂差不多，但比較軟一點。既然沒看過別人用可可油入皂，乾脆來個100%可可油皂來不受打擾地體會一下可可油。

皂入100%可可油，連SF都用可可油。成品蠻軟的，放好久還是軟。最近比較硬了些，試用一下。哇，真是無心插柳成蔭，洗感很好。首先它的泡泡竟然蠻多的，也蠻持久，比橄欖油起泡容易。洗時會有滑潤感，沖水時會覺得有點黏膩，但擦乾後，皮膚感覺柔軟不緊繃，非常舒服！
做過這樣的實驗後，更有信心把它加到皂的配方中。大家可以試試看喔。

By accident bought a big barrel of cocoa oil instead of coconut oil!
I hav't seen any one use cocoa oil to make soap. I even can not find INS value from web sites! In order to see how it really feels, I decided to make a 100% cocoa oil soap.
[Soap]
It's a 100% cocoa oil soap even SF with cocoa oil. It is very soft. Until recently, I cut a piece to give a try. This soap is surprising good!
First, it lathers very easily. When applying on the skin, it is very smooth and well-lubricated. Duing rinse, there is slightly sticky feeling. But after wiping dry my skin, it feels very smooth and soft!
After this experiment, I have more confidence to add cocoa oil in my soap.

喜歡加燕麥的洗感，柔軟的顆粒按摩皮膚，很舒服呢。咖啡色的部份是加了糖蜜，真是甜蜜又營養的早餐喔。加了夏威夷核果油的馬賽皂配方，洗淨滋潤一次搞定！
[Thought]
My skin feels very smooth and soft after using soap with oatmeal. Oatmeal is one of popular breakfast in my family. This time, I will make it even sweeter!
[Soap]
Added some grounded organic rolled oats in my Castile soap recipe. Enriched nourishing kuikui nut oil to give more moisturizing to skin and the fragrant black molasses speckled the soap.

久聞牛奶皂的滋潤，來嘗試一下四倍奶低溫皂。全脂牛奶冰成碎冰角慢慢溶鹼，很久很久才溶完。很小心不讓溫度升高，所以都沒有阿摩尼亞的味道。
用金盞花浸泡的橄欖油讓皂液變成美麗的金黃色，也讓牛奶皂的滋潤和修護有相乘的效果。
最後加一些乾燥金盞花辦和玉容粉，美白養顏。

[Thought]
It's said that the four folded milk soap is very moisturizing. I want to give it a try.
[Soap]
First, need to freeze the milk into ice cube and use it to dissolve lye. It took very long time in order to keep at low temperature to prevent odd smelling (ammonia).
The Calendula infused olive oil makes the soap beautiful golden color. At the end, some Calendula petals and herb powder were added. The herb's recipe is from Ci-Xi Imperial Dowager Empress to maintain her beauty.

下午三點的tea time，來個香嫩爽口的藍莓草莓慕司吧。
這個蛋糕皂很難脫模，還毀了好幾個優格盒子。先做上面的圖形小皂再鑲嵌到兩層的圓型皂裡，總共做了三次才做完，有點辛苦說。

A delicious cake but it's a soap!
[Soap]
Took three times to finish this mousse. After done the soap, it is very difficult to get it out of my yogurt containers. After all, it is a beautiful, seems delicious, and of course, a soap to clean and moist your skin.

用紫草根浸泡橄欖油竟然做出這麼深藍的皂，自己看了都很感動呢。先用一般橄欖油做白色的底再用紫草根浸泡橄欖油做另外一層，再配上薰衣草精油，想必愛薰衣草的人都會喜歡！

A simple blue and white soap, as blue as ocean, as white as cloud.
[Soap]
It was a wonderfule experience to use infused olive oil to make soap. The Alkanet infused oil was red, after mixed with lye, it turned to purple. So delightful to see the color changes! Don't be surprised if you see lots of shiconix infused oil in my soap recipe!
Lavender essentil oil was added for all the Lavender lovers!

第一次感受到用天然素材變色的恐怖。
原本計畫有深綠和淺綠兩層，剛做好時真是美得冒泡，淺綠清新可愛，深綠穩重厚實。沒想到切皂後不久，皂邊開始發黃，原本春意盎然的皂竟帶有些秋天的瀟瑟了！雖然顏色不再鮮艷，但這可是加入高含量的酪梨油，再加上營養的螺旋藻，是個滋潤又營養的好皂！

Two layers of soap. Dark green on the bottom and light green on the upper layer with avocado oil soap base.
[Soap]
The vivid green color after couple days turned yellowish! This is the side effect of using nature additives as pigment! This soap has high portion of avocado oil and nutrious spirulina powder that will keep skin moist and smooth.

做這死海泥皂時，發生有史以來第一次傳說中的果凍效應。不知該高興還是悲哀，因為對果凍效應在網路上有兩極的反應。有人說產生果凍效應的皂比較好洗。我想可能是溫度高，皂化速度快使得鹼性降低快因而洗起來較滋潤吧。但如果溫度真的太高，則可能有火山爆發的慘劇發生。所以我覺得果凍效應是遊走在熱製法及冷製法間的灰色地帶，雖然高溫可以確保皂化的完全，但卻是失去所謂冷製法慢工出細活的真意。所以入模後的保溫要能不失溫又不產生果凍，真是一門大學問啊。

嗯，廢話太多了些，來看看我這果凍皂吧。老實說，這皂摸起來非常細膩滑嫩，很好的觸感。死海泥讓皂看起來像片沙灘，白色的皂片像浪退去後在沙灘上留下的白色泡沫，皂上的小洞好像沙灘上寄居蟹的家一樣…。果凍顏色還沒完全退去，想說既然曾經果凍過，得要是個好洗皂才行。

馬賽皂大約是每個做皂人練功的必修課吧。初生之犢不畏虎，讓我來給它試一下吧。
據說馬賽皂做起來會很軟，因為它含有72%的橄欖油，為此我加了一些蜂臘，可以讓皂硬一點。除此之外還有冬天適用的可可脂，它可以柔軟肌膚，具有極佳的保溼效果，而且可以增加皂的硬度。說到這可可脂，它的香味真的是太迷人了，從熔可可脂開始，濃濃的可可香就不斷飄出來，真想吃它一口！

Extra virgin的橄欖油加上起泡容易但比椰子油溫和的棕櫚核油，讓這皂更溫柔。只是我原本想要的墨綠色皂液到trace後竟然是黃綠色！唉，做肥皂就是有這樣多未可知的驚喜吧。

切皂的感覺很好，軟硬適中，很像切有油木果脂皂的質感。一邊切的時後，淡淡的橄欖油香和可可脂的香味就飄了出來，油脂的自然香味真是太迷人了，不加精油也很棒呢！

A firm and gentle Castile soap without adding essential oil or additives.
[Soap]
In order to make a harder Castile soap, I added some bee wax and cocoa butter. The aroma of cocoa butter is so delicious even made me hungry during soap making.
72% of Extra virgin olive oil and palm kernel oil make the soap tender to skin. Good for normal skin and for those who are sensitive to essential oil.
